With its giant mouth, the komodo dragon swallows small monkeys in a terrible way

The Komodo dragon is a large lizard found on the islands of Indonesia. This is the largest living lizard until now, with a maximum length of 3m and a weight of about 70kg. Komodo dragons hunt and ambush prey including invertebrates, birds, and mammals.

For some information, this video was recorded in a facility that preserves this species. In the video, the monkey has unfortunately strayed into the cage of this predator.

The dragon pulled the monkey to the ground and pinned the monkey with its sharp teeth, soon other dragons also ran to fight for this meal.

The monkey was quickly torn to pieces by the dragons.
