Aussie adventurer swims inches from a huge snake in a rainforest creek as it slithers across his neck and almost bites him on the face

An Australian adventurer has shared a rainforest creek with a huge snake as it swam around him just inches from his face.

Miller Wilson encountered a three-metre coastal python as he explored the forest in northern Australia.

The 18-year-old can be seen standing still in the freezing water trying to guide the snake back to land.

At one stage, the snake appeared as though it was about to bite Mr Wilson as it swam alarmingly close.

‘That could have easily been a bite,’ Mr Wilson can be heard saying as he jerked away.

The curious python then slithered across Mr Wilson’s neck as his camera man can be heard warning him.

Viewers applauded the man’s bravery as he swam only inches away from the wild snake.

‘Australians just have no fear with animals,’ commented one viewer.

‘Legend mate!’, said another.

Some have even compared him to iconic wildlife wrangler Steve Irwin, who died in a freak accident with a stingray in 2006.

‘You could’ve said that you’re the son of Steve Irwin and I would believe it,’ one wrote.

Miller Wilson has been known to make videos like these since he was 11 years old.

He travels around the world to find new ways to catch animal species.

‘My main goal is to educate people about these amazing species and show everyone how awesome they really are.’
