The movement of a snake that has been attacked by a hawk and is being held firmly under its talons is nearly impossible because the hawk has immobilized the snake’s body.
On the other hand, a hawk with a pointy beak also penetrated the snake, rendering it unable to attack. This is a common method used by birds that hunt snakes for an advantage over snakes.
The snake will eventually succumb to its fate and have every piece of meat on its body devoured by hawks. People occasionally come across instances of hawks being strangled to death in the wild by their own prey after wrapping their necks around them.
