“Parental Devotion: 20 Hyenas Take Drastic Measures, Attacking Lion King to Feed Cubs”

With their inherent cunning combined with their numerical superiority, hyenas have always been a threat to savannah animals, even lions.

In a short video recorded in Kruger National Park, two lions are engrossed in eating their prey by a lake when they are surrounded by a herd of hyenas.

At first, the lion tried to show his power to “face” those who were watching. One of the two lions rushed into the middle of the hyenas and scared them for a moment.

However, the hyenas quickly established a siege and overwhelmed them in numbers.

Faced with the recklessness of the hyenas, the two lions had to “leave their possessions and run for people”, accepting to leave their prey for the hungry hyenas.
